Melissa is a Senior Associate in McCullough Robertson’s Tax team and a member of the McR Private team. She advises private clients and family offices on tax planning and wealth structuring, delivering strategies for long-term financial security. Melissa combines Federal and State tax expertise with a genuine understanding of her clients’ objectives to provide technical and practical guidance at different stages of wealth building. She works with high-net-worth individuals and families with complex needs, supporting clients on both a transactional basis and on a long-term advisory basis.

Elizabeth is a nationally-recognised independent expert on the fixed income asset class. She has more than 25 years’ experience in banking and financial institutions in Australia and the UK and has been published in every major Australian newspaper and investment website, and she wrote a column for The Australian for more than seven years.

Currently, Elizabeth is editorial director at Fixed Income News Australia, and Income Strategist at Intelligent Investor.

Prior to becoming an independent commentator in 2019 she spent more than 10 years as the head of education and research at fixed income broker FIIG Securities. Prior to joining FIIG, Elizabeth worked as an Editor/Analyst for Rapid Ratings a quantitative credit rating agency, writing daily press releases for Bloomberg. She also spent five years in London, three working as a credit rating analyst for NatWest Markets.

Elizabeth is passionate about financial security and education, presenting across Australian at numerous conferences.

Adelaide Timbrell is a senior economist at ANZ, whose role is to analyse and forecast the Australian economy. Adelaide has worked with ANZ Research since 2019, and previously in the consulting and property industries from 2014. Adelaide’s qualifications include a Master of Economics from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Queensland.

Dr Natalie (Xiaowen) Peng is a Lecturer in Accounting at The University of Queensland Business School. Her research focuses on superannuation, retirement savings, and financial governance. She is a regular media commentator on superannuation policy, with recent contributions in ABC News, SBS Mandarin, The Conversation and the Sydney Morning Herald. Natalie’s work often highlights the gender gap in superannuation and explores ways to promote women’s financial security, bringing academic research into public and policy debates. Alongside her research, she is passionate about teaching and has led innovations in accounting education for large student cohorts at UQ.

Lucille Keen is an experienced senior corporate affairs leader, who has provided strategic communications, government relations and investor relations counsel to global, regional and national C-suite executives and board directors throughout her career. Currently Lucille manages State Government Relations at ANZ, where she has responsibility for driving meaningful conversations with government and the bank, while building and protecting ANZ’s reputation in the market.

Lucille began her time at ANZ managing media relations, after returning to Australia from Hong Kong in 2021. Prior to joining ANZ Lucille held a number of global head of function positions at renowned companies such as EY and PwC, where she managed and built collaborative, agile and resilient teams across the world. As a former senior political and financial journalist for a decade, with six years at Australia’s premier business and economic affairs newspaper The Australian Financial Review, Lucille has a strong understanding of Australia’s political and media landscapes.
