Virtual Masterclass: WiBF Harnessing The Nervous System

Virtual Masterclass date: Thursday 18th November 2027

**This WiBF Masterclass offers 1 CPD Point**

You are constantly responding to the world around you, but you were never taught a key element of this, how the nervous system actually works, or how to work with it.

Whether it’s stress that won’t switch off, a mind that races at 2 a.m., or a body that feels flat and disconnected, this masterclass is designed to help you understand what’s happening beneath the surface and give you practical tools to shift it.

Using a combination of theory, practices and activities we will explore how the nervous system works and how it shapes behaviours. We will develop an awareness of signs our nervous system in struggling and effective ways to intervene.

By the end of the workshop you’ll be able to;

• – Understand the main parts of the nervous system and what each does.
• – Know how it shapes stress, rest and recovery.
• – Recognise signs of different nervous system states in yourself and others before they affect judgement, communication or leadership.
• – Be aware of your personal early-warning signs, from reactive emails to decision fatigue.
• – Practise at least six regulation techniques you can use at your desk, in a meeting or before a difficult conversation.
• – Leave with a written, personalised regulation plan.

All genders are welcome to participate in this masterclass.
