Galia is the Capital Markets leader for Accenture across Australia and New Zealand with a career that spans over 28 years in strategy and consulting, primarily focused on human strategies, communication, customer experience, complex transformation and accelerated delivery. For the past 12 years she has focused on financial services playing a number of in-house and consulting roles leading major programs such as remediation, risk transformation, customer contact transformation, digital product development, re-imagined AI enabled workflows for IB/Investment, complaints culture transformation, broker performance, enterprise AI and new platform development, as well as leading large teams within Accenture across Consulting and Operations. Galia’s background is in organisational psychology and she is based in Melbourne.

Paulina Skorupski is the Head of Audit – Professional Practices at NAB, where she leads audit planning and monitoring, methodology, quality assurance and learning and development across the Internal Audit function. A CPA-qualified finance professional with a Master’s in Applied Finance, Paulina has nearly 20 years of experience in internal audit, risk management and governance across NAB, Commonwealth Bank, HSBC, KPMG and EY. Passionate about advancing women in finance, she is a strong advocate for inclusive leadership, sponsorship and creating opportunities for women to thrive and lead.

Professor Susan Thorp has recently joined Monash University, as Head of the Department of Banking and Finance. Prior to her appointment at Monash, Professor Thorp was Professor of Finance at the University of Sydney Business School, where she served as inaugural Director of Engaged Research (2017–18) and Associate Dean, Research and Research Education (2019–2023). Previously she was Professor of Finance and Superannuation at UTS.

Damian is an international banker with experience working in Australia, New Zealand, London, Japan and Korea. Over this time, Damian has held Senior Management, Coverage, Origination, Product and Risk roles in both ANZ and Barclays Capital focusing on Institutional Banking. Damian also actively participates in the community having held Chairman and Treasurer roles in a variety of business associations.  Currently Damian is Chairman of the Australia and New Zealand Regional Committee of the International Trade and Forfeiting Association. In his current role in ANZ, Damian is tasked with developing end-to-end propositions to enhance the B2B Payables experiences for its customers.
