Avoid Burnout: Join WiBF’s April Meditation Sessions

In today’s fast-paced world, it’s easy to feel constantly “switched on.” When stress levels stay high for too long, it can lead to burnout – a state that impacts both mental and physical health. Early signs often go unnoticed, including sleep difficulties, racing thoughts, feeling overwhelmed, or high blood pressure. Left unchecked, chronic stress can affect digestion, reproductive health and skin.
At WiBF, we are committed to helping our members proactively manage stress and avoid burnout. That’s why we’ve introduced our fortnightly meditation series, designed to help you calm your nervous system, lower blood pressure, and manage thought patterns. Each session incorporates evidence-based techniques from breathwork, mindfulness, and meditation, reducing cortisol levels during the day so stress doesn’t become chronic.

What’s Coming Up in April
8th April – Discover mindful breathing techniques to soothe the nervous system and lower your heart rate. We’ll follow with a body and sense scan to release stress and anxiety, and finish with zen breath counting to enhance focus and clarity.
22nd April – Learn the power of box breathing as a stress management tool, followed by a Non-Sleep Deep Rest (NSDR) meditation. This session will help you release physical, mental, and emotional tension, leaving you refreshed and revitalised.
Our meditation sessions offer a safe and supportive space to step away from the daily rush, reset your mind, and practice techniques you can carry into your everyday life.
Facilitated by Shane Brennan, a qualified Meditation teacher & Performance Coach with deep expertise in the nervous system and sustainable performance. Shane draws on both ancient practices and modern science, to help people move from stress to clarity and resilience.
Having transformed his own health through meditation and breathwork, Shane has taught thousands of people how to meditate, guided stress management sessions and delivered keynotes at many ASX listed and international companies including Google, Westpac, Bluescope, KPMG and many more.
