WiBF & Macquarie Host In-Person Masterclass

WiBF was thrilled to join our Corporate Member Macquarie last week for an in-person Masterclass dedicated to unpacking Imposter Syndrome, a challenge many high-achieving professionals quietly carry. Led by Sheila Vijeyarasa the session offered a refreshing mix of reflection, practical tools and honest conversation as participants explored why imposter feelings surface and how to navigate them with confidence and clarity.

From the very beginning, the room felt grounded and collaborative. Conversations unfolded naturally as participants spoke about the pressure to appear confident, the awkwardness of accepting compliments, and the quiet self-doubt that can shadow even the strongest performers.

Workshops like this are a powerful reminder that confidence isn’t something we’re expected to master alone. When we slow down, speak openly and hear our own experiences reflected in others, the shift is profound. With supportive peers and the right tools, self-belief becomes something we grow, together.

A big thank you to Macquarie and everyone who attended with such openness and willingness to reflect.
