WiBF’s Newest Board Members
26 Sep 2024
At the heart of WiBF’s success is our exceptional Board of Directors—an inspiring mix of high-calibre leaders whose expertise, vision, and commitment are propelling us to new heights. With a perfect blend of experience, diversity, and fresh perspectives, our Board is not only shaping the future of banking and finance but also driving real progress in diversity, equity, and inclusion across the industry.
On 16th September, we gathered for our annual in-person Strategic Meeting, hosted by our long-time partner EY. We cannot thank the EY team enough for their ongoing support, which continues to fuel our mission and enable pivotal moments like these. For some, this was their very first WiBF Board meeting. We are thankful to welcome them to the WiBF Leadership team and know their fresh energy will undoubtedly strengthen our mission, ensuring WiBF’s continued growth and impact.
Please join us in welcoming our newest directors to the WiBF Board:
Natalie Vanstone, Head of Global Markets, Australia for RBC Capital Markets, and a member of the RBC Sydney Branch Operating Committee. With her extensive experience, Natalie will help WiBF build on its momentum by expanding our reach and increasing engagement with key stakeholders, industry leaders, and policymakers.
Rebecca Warren, Executive General Manager of Small Business Banking at Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA). Rebecca leads a diverse team covering Small Business Bankers, Analysts, Business Home Lending, Broker, Agency and Specialist Services, and Operations. Her leadership will be instrumental as WiBF continues to champion the growth and development of women in banking and finance.
Tom Clayton, Head of Retail Credit Risk at Macquarie Bank. Tom’s experience in managing credit strategy, analytics, and policy for Home Loan and Credit Card businesses, combined with his international background, will be invaluable in shaping WiBF’s strategic direction.
Darren Boulos, Managing Director, Head of Global Foreign Exchange, Asia Pacific for Deutsche Bank, and Head of Australian Rates Trading. Darren’s extensive global experience and leadership across various financial markets will bring a dynamic perspective to WiBF’s board. We are incredibly fortunate to have such distinguished leaders join our board. Their contributions will be pivotal as we continue to grow and make a lasting impact in the industry.
