Jo Shaw

Jo Shaw is Head of Strategy, Capability, Marketing and Corporate Finance, Credit and Capital Management Business Execution at ANZ Institutional. With over 30 years’ experience in financial services across Australia and the UK, Jo leads ANZ Institutional’s strategy, growth and productivity priorities, transformation plans, Institutional’s Capability and Marketing teams as well as leading the execution of the strategy and operating rhythm in Corporate Finance.

Since joining ANZ in 2007, Jo has led Business Execution for Institutional Australia & PNG, built the Education & Defence coverage business, and managed relationships with ANZ’s global bank clients. Earlier, she specialised in structured credit, political risk and structured finance with Atradius, ACE, AIG and ABN Amro, largely in London, after starting her career at NAB in Brisbane.

Jo is a Director on three other Boards, a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and holds degrees from the University of Queensland and QUT. She lives with her husband, four daughters and two dogs.
