Celebrating Success at the WiBF Mentoring for Success Program’s Final In-Person Workshop in Melbourne
04 Oct 2023
In a heart-warming culmination of learning, growth, and mentorship, the WiBF Mentoring for Success Program in Melbourne celebrated its final in-person workshop yesterday. The event was a testament to the power of knowledge-sharing, the importance of mentorship, and the sense of fulfilment that comes with giving back to the community.
The workshop brought together 2023 program mentors and mentees to discuss the invaluable aspects of work experience and the transferable skills necessary for aspiring future leaders. The panellists, who have been actively involved in the program as mentors, took centre stage to share their wisdom and experiences.
These three remarkable individuals, who have dedicated their time and expertise to the WiBF Mentoring for Success Program this year, offered unique insights into their journeys. Their stories reflected not only the professional development they’ve gained from the program but also the profound sense of joy and satisfaction they’ve experienced by helping others on their path to success.
One of the highlights of the event was the panellists’ willingness to openly share their top tips for the mentees. Their advice ranged from practical career strategies to valuable life lessons, providing mentees with a wealth of knowledge to draw upon as they navigate their own professional journeys.
The WiBF Mentoring for Success Program has consistently demonstrated its commitment to fostering a culture of mentorship and growth within the banking and finance industry. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the panellists, Jayman Prestidge – Managing Partner at Fordham Group, Sascha Thiel – Executive Tribe Lead, Head of Business Platform Services and Authentication, ANZ and Zack G – Chief Risk Officer, Asic, for their dedication and generosity in sharing their experiences.
Thank you to everyone involved for making this year’s program a remarkable success.
We look forward to Sydney’s final in-person event next month.
