Sofia Zanon di Valgiurata, is a leader in AI at HSBC, globally responsible for the flagship AI products inside the bank, and the deployment of these capabilities across critical commercial journeys at HSBC.
In her current role, Sofia is focused on driving innovation to deliver meaningful returns to the Corporate and Institional Banking (CIB) business globally. Sofia has a deep understanding of the regulatotry, legal, and compliance implications of AI and Generative AI, and is dedicated to ensuring AI in all forms is delivered ethically and safely.
Prior to joining HSBC, Sofia was in financial services consulting at EY.
