The Imperative of Inclusion in the Green Economy Workforce

Michele Lemmens is APAC’s Head of Business Sustainability and CTO at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). She is passionate about the opportunities for businesses to embrace more sustainable business models by harnessing the power of innovation and digital in the way they operate, and champion change, for better triple bottom line outcomes.

Michele is responsible for championing, shaping and bringing to life new digital, innovation and sustainability initiatives. She facilitates ecosystem access to the depth and breadth of TCS CTO capabilities, assets and solutions, Research & Innovation and COIN (Academics, startups, accelerators, broader ecosystem contributors) and business partners to deliver measurable economic, social, environmental outcomes that have industry relevance and value.  One of her career highlights was setting up a women-only business centre in Saudi Arabia. She has successfully designed, built and delivered new initiatives, across multiple geographies, often led by strategies focused on new market entry, M&A, JVs, start-ups and strategic alliances across multiple partners to realise collective value.

Christine Fellowes is Co-Founder and Chairperson of Nineby9.  She has lived and worked in Hong Kong and Singapore for 35 years, leading multinational companies in media, entertainment and technology business in the region.  Christine serves on a number of boards including National Australia Bank (NAB) and leads the Asia chapter for Harvard Women Execs on Boards.

In 2021, Christine co-founded Nineby 9, a Singapore-based not for profit organisation, focused on research and advocacy to impact gender parity in the workforce in Asia.  Nineby9’s first research Gender Equality: The Moment of Truth – highlighted Asian women’s experience of equality at work.  Nineby9 recently published their latest report: The Imperative of Inclusion in the Green Economy Workforce, supported by LinkedIn.

Grace Kerrison is LinkedIn’s Head of Sales Solutions – APAC. She is passionate about diversity and equality in the workplace and a strong advocate for ensuring the importance of “S” in ESG is top of mind for businesses, industry and government.
