Menopause in the Workplace: Supporting Your Team and Colleagues Through Change

Menopause is primarily associated with aging and the female reproductive system and in societies that devalue older individuals and exhibit gender bias, discussing menopause can be seen as acknowledging a woman’s transition to a different life stage, which may carry negative stereotypes or biases. Menopause can bring physical and emotional changes that may impact women’s career and social lives. Discussing these challenges openly can be seen as a sign of vulnerability or weakness, which some individuals may wish to avoid.
Join Katie Harris and Dr Julia Menzies as they discuss why menopause in the workplace is a (big) issue, and the importance of breaking the stigma and taboos to normalise menopause.
