Tess joined CommBank where she leads high-performing teams focused on helping small businesses grow, innovate, and thrive. She is a passionate advocate for entrepreneurship and financial inclusion, regularly representing CommBank at industry forums and judging panels, including the Octomedia Retailer Awards, Local Business Awards and Frankston Collective 2024 Business Awards.
Her journey began in a major bank’s graduate program in 2010, progressing through roles such as Regional Manager, Head of Change & Communications, and Head of Relationship Associates for Business Metro. Tess is known for her deep commitment to supporting small business customers, having grown up in a family-run business herself.
Tess holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Science from the University of Melbourne, with a sponsored exchange at the University of Virginia. She is a FINSIA-certified Chartered Banker recognising her diverse banking career and industry experience.
