Abby Bloom is an expert in health, aging and innovation.
Abby Bloom is an expert in health, aging and innovation. She has had a board and advisory portfolio for many years and has simultaneously co-founded several innovative companies in the biomedical, health and aging sectors. A graduate of Yale and Sydney universities, and an Adjunct Professor of Business at UTS, she is a trained epidemiologist and anthropologist. She worked in policy in the US State Department for 10 years and as a health executive and consultant in Australia, and has worked in over 20 countries, notably on large health systems and public-private partnerships. She has been a director of two hospital groups; Sydney Water; an insurance regulator; and various tech start-ups. Her current roles include founder of a digital portal supporting working carers, a company fostering innovation in longevity, and the author of the forthcoming business book Working while Caring.
