Rebecca Crabb is the Chief Operating Officer for the Global Markets business which is part of the Institutional Banking and Markets (IB&M) division of the Commonwealth Bank.

Rebecca Crabb is the Chief Operating Officer for the Global Markets business which is part of the Institutional Banking and Markets (IB&M) division of the Commonwealth Bank. The Global Markets business spans multiple jurisdictions and she is responsible for leading, developing and driving the strategic direction and operational effectiveness of the business and its support functions. Rebecca is also the co-chair of the IB&M Inclusion and Diversity committee and on the board for Women in Banking and Finance.

Prior to joining CBA, Rebecca worked at RBC Capital Markets as Head of Office of COO – APAC where she was responsible for governance and oversight for APAC as well as articulating and driving business strategy in partnership with the business and functions. While in this role she also managed regulatory on-sites with ASIC & HKMA delivering all actions from their findings.

Additionally, Rebecca worked at NAB for a number of years in Markets Business Management across IRS, FI, FX, Commodities, Digital, Structuring and Sales. She also built and led NAB’s Markets Support Team to support the Markets business and their customers as well as project managed APRA and US Federal Reserve submissions for key derivatives regulation.

Rebecca is originally from Adelaide and now lives in Bondi with her husband Ian, they have 4 children aged 24, 22, 19 and 16 and she unashamedly a “crazy cocker spaniel lady” owning 2 beautiful cocker spaniels!
